To rent a monthly scooter or motorbike in Bangkok, please prepare the following documents:
• Passport copy (original required for verification)
• Work permit OR Condo / House rental contract (minimum 6-month stay)
• Security Deposit:
– 2,000 THB for 110–125cc motorbikes
– 3,000 THB for 150cc and above
All scooters and motorbikes are intended for use within Greater Bangkok only.
Please prepare:
• Passport copy (original required for verification)
• Hotel or Airbnb booking in Bangkok (must match rental dates)
• Security Deposit:
– 5,000 THB cash (or equivalent in USD / EUR)
A Thai or international motorcycle license is not required to rent a scooter or motorbike under 300cc.
However, under Thai law, all riders must hold a valid driving license while riding.
Any fines, penalties, or legal responsibility for riding without a license are fully the rider’s responsibility.
